I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it.

Sit Spot Map
Mapping your Sit Spot will encourage better observation of your surroundings and allow you to build up your knowledge of the natural resources around you. Once you have made yourself comfortable in your Sit Spot, spend 15 – 20 minutes looking all around you and trying to memorise the landmarks that you can see.
When you return home (or get back to work!) use piece of paper to record your observations. (There is also a Sit Spot Map page in the downloadable PDF Invitations and Reflective Log Booklet and a stand-alone Sit Spot Map that you can download here).
If you are using a plain sheet of paper, draw a cross in the middle of your page, imagine that X marks your Sit Spot and record the significant features that you noticed.
Tomorrow when you return you can start to look for features that you didn’t record today, and you can continue to add to your Sit Spot Map for as long as you want.
